School Uniform

About our Uniform

The TWPS school uniform was specifically designed for out school and provides a smart and comfortable uniform choice for our students.  

Formal Uniform

Students are expected to wear the correct formal uniform when attending school, on school excursions and when representing the school either on the grounds or away.

Sport Uniform

On days that are designated sport days or have sport related activities students are expected to wear the correct school sports uniform.  School sports days are generally 1-2 days per week depending on timetable scheduling – Timetabling information will be provided by the school or your classroom teacher.

No Hat No Play

TWPS operates on a strict ‘No Hat, No Play’ policy and all students are required to wear a school hat when not in classrooms or as instructed by the teachers.

 

Uniform Shop

About Us

The uniform shop at TWPS is the sole stockists of the TWPS formal and shorts uniform, as well as other general uniform items and accessories such as socks, chair bags, art smocks and P&C items.

The TWPS Uniform Shop is non-profit and is operated as a sub committee of the P&C as a service to the TWPS community.

From time to time, the Uniform Shop may stock a special release item, for any information regarding this will be posted on our Facebook page or in the School Newsletter.   For any other day to day information regarding the uniform shop please see our public Facebook page:

Shop Opening Hours

The shop is only open during School Term Time and is located under the COLA near the school hall.  Opening hours are every Tuesday and Thursday 8:30am to 9:30am and every Wednesday 2:30pm to 3:30pm.

During normal opening hours, the shop is open for general purchases only and does not generally have the capacity to assist with individual uniform fittings or consultations, however we do have a fitting room for students to try on uniform items with their parents/carers.

Any additional opening times will be communicated via the school newsletter and the Uniform Shop Facebook page.

The shop accepts payment by Cash, EFTPOS, Mastercard, Visa.  We can accept payment by Bank Transfer by prior arrangement.

The shop will be closed during all school holidays.

Online Purchasing

The uniform shop offers online ordering through Flexischools.com.au.  Orders placed through Flexischools will be delivered to your children’s classrooms.  Orders currently close at 5pm the evening before the scheduled date. 

The Uniform Shop offers new families the ability to order online through Flexischools.com.au before your children start at the school.  You will need to register your child on Flexischools to order, during the registration process choose “New Classes 2021” as their year level and then select the most appropriate option as the class.  Please note registering your child this way only gives access to the uniform shop – once they start at school and you know their class you can modify the registration so that they can access other items such as canteen.

 

Pricing

All pricing is available on the Flexischools Uniform Shop page.  Pricing is reviewed each year with any changes effective as at 1st October each year. 

However, prices are subject to change at other times during the year pending on TWPS P&C approval and will be communicated by the P&C prior to being implemented in Flexischools.

 

Fittings and Appointments

Uniform Fitting appointments are generally available from 1st November to Mid-December each year for new students starting Kindergarten the following year.  These appointments will be available to book from our Eventbrite site at https://twps-uniform-booking.eventbrite.com.au.  If you require an appointment outside these times please email twpsuniformshop@gmail.com to book.

 

Refund and Exchange Policy

If you wish to return an item bought through the Uniform Shop, we will offer you an exchange or refund provided that:

●      You return the item within 28 days of purchase

●      You produce your original shop receipt or provide the Flexischools order ID at the time you return the item.

●      The item is in a re-saleable condition including that:

○      It is in its original undamaged packaging

○      Item tags are still attached

○      It is unworn, unused, unwashed and in its original condition

There is no refund or returns accepted on pre-loved or clearance items.

Due to health reasons we are unable to accept returns on socks or tights unless they are in their original sealed and unopened packets unless the item is faulty.

We will also accept returns and provide you with an exchange, refund or repair outside if:

●      The item is faulty or is not of acceptable quality or

●      The item is not fit for its intended purpose.

For kindergarten purchases that are made during Term 4 we offer an extended exchange and refund period.  Provided all of the return and exchange requirements are met, you can organise an exchange or return up to the end of February the year your child starts school.

 

Information for Kindergarten and New Families

We appreciate that starting school, or moving school, is a big step for your child and it can seem pretty daunting for parents too, especially when it is your first child.

At TWPS, our uniform shop is staffed by parents who have children at the school and we are keen to make your uniform purchase as straight-forward as possible for both you and your child.

If this is your first child starting at TWPS then we recommend that you book a private appointment to have them fitted for their new uniforms.  Private appointments are held outside normal shop opening times.  An experienced staff member will be able to answer questions that you might have to ensure your child’s uniform is correctly sized and fitted.  You will be able to purchase your uniforms at this fitting or take the information away and order at a later date.

Online Purchasing for Kindergarten and New Students

What do I need to buy before my child starts?

Your child will need both a formal uniform and sports uniform, including a hat and a backpack as per the uniform guidelines.  We recommend starting with 2 x formal uniforms and 1 x sports uniform.  If your child is in K-2 then they will also need and art smock, chairbag and a library bag which we also stock in the uniform shop

From Term 4, we will have a “Welcome to Kindergarten” section open on Flexischools for you to select packages from to make it easy, we also offer an online layby on the packages from this section.  

If you would like to purchase items individually you are also free to browse and purchase from other sections online, unfortunately we are not able to provide a layby service on individual items.

What if my child has outgrown their uniform by February?

In the unlikely situation that your child grows and can no longer fit in the uniform you purchased we have an extended exchange policy which applies for Kindy purchases made in Term 4.  Provided the items are in the condition specified by our returns and exchange policy then we will offer exchanges and/or returns up until the end of February the following year.  Please note that this is for new items only as our preloved items are not able to be exchanged.

What if I am unable to make an appointment during Term 4?

We do try to be flexible with our appointments, so if you are unable to make a booking please email us and we may be able to organise an appointment at a different time than what is available on the website. 

For children starting Kindergarten we do recommend that you organise their uniforms in Term 4 as the shop can become extremely busy at the start of term 1 and there may be a delay on some stock items as the suppliers are not able to deliver during the holidays. 

With the ability to order online, you can order the uniform in the size that you think and if it doesn’t fit when you get it home, we can always organise an exchange.

Returns and Exchanges are by appointment only during this time – please email with requirements.

Fittings are on hold until further notice.  From 1 November 2020 we will be offering a limited number of online consultations for Kindy 2021 families to discuss uniform requirements.  These appointments will be available through our Eventbrite page https://twps-uniform-booking.eventbrite.com.au

Kindy 2021 order deliveries/pickups will be confirmed by email when they have been processed.

Sales on preloved items may occasionally be made available online or via our Facebook Page.  If you are looking for preloved items please email us and we will let you know what we have available.

Any changes to the COVID19 operating process will be communicated on the TWPS Uniform Shop Facebook page, the School Newsletter and/or the TWPS P&C Facebook page.
